Hello! I’m Christina, the maker at 416 Clay Studio. Thank you for taking your time to get to know me! I married my high school sweetheart and together we have made a family that is small in size but BIG on love. We are currently living in Middle Tennessee and we love it. Crafting is my passion, and I have enjoyed doing it since I was in Girl Scouts. My husband and I are always making, creating and building. We love to see what I can create with our own hands.

I started making earrings in 2020 and I have really enjoyed working with polymer clay. It's a great material to work with because there are many opportunities to be creative with textures, shapes, paints, transfer papers and so much more. I'm so happy to be able to create fun earrings for everyone to enjoy and I just love when my earrings bring a little bit of joy to my customers. Thank you for taking a little time to get to know me! Polymer clay is a synthetic modeling clay made from PVC, otherwise known as polyvinyl chloride. It hardens with heat and is plastic-based so it will last a very long time. If cured properly, polymer clay is extremely durable and will not become weak, break or shatter over time. Our clay is tested regularly to ensure durability. The best part about polymer clay earrings is that they are lightweight! Our earrings are made to last!

Polymer clay earrings are lightweight and comfortable to wear all day long. Our largest pair of earrings is .2 ounces or 4 grams. That is the same weight as a quarter. Not only are they lightweight, they are sure to make a statement and add a little fun to your outfit of the day!

Each pair of earrings are created with love and care in my home studio. Handcrafted from a few blocks of clay into a beautiful statement piece for your ears. I shape, bake, sand and finish each pair with hypoallergenic hardware.

All of our earrings are handcrafted and no two pair will be exactly the same and may have very slight variations. This adds to their unique charm and highlights their handmade nature.

The jewelry components that we use are hypoallergenic. That means that there is minimal risk of causing an allergic reaction. All of our earring posts are made of stainless steel that is free of nickel and lead. All of our gold or silver stud tops are made with 18k gold or Rhodium plated stainless steel. That adds to their hypoallergenic qualities.
